The COGNOS Solution engineer role is within our Professional Services group. In this position, you will use your full base of experietial knowledge of the your business analsys to help implement our clients solutions. You will work with other Senior Business Consultants to help our clients in their BI implementations. Some travel is required. (60-80%)

Primary Skills required:

- COGNOS Solution engineer is expected to have strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, Business Analsys experience and functional accountability for organizational reporting.

- Should have requisite knowledge with the following COGNOS products; ReportNet, PowerPlay and Impromptu; Versions 6, 7 or 8 is preferred.

- 5+ years of business experience where you have been relied upon as an expert within your organization

- 3+ years of experience with all facets of ETL concepts.

- Must be able to spot and identify client issues, handle appropriately, and communicate clearly.

- Provide analysis, design and leadership consulting skills to clients.

- Must be willing and able to travel as necessary.
